Kaye Christie Castor

Kaye Whicker Castor returned to her Parents in Heaven October 14, 2019 in Carlin, NV.  She was born May 25, 1947 in Fillmore, UT to Lloyd Grant and Christie Warner Whicker.  She was sealed to her parents February 16, 1963 in the Manti Temple.  Married Gary Dale Castor June 12, 1965 in Fillmore, UT later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 20, 1983.  She was an accomplished pilot, secretary for the local airport, cosmetologist, seamstress, interior decorator and a Avon Distributor.  Kaye served in many positions and supported many in their service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She served a two year senior mission with her husband Gary.  She is survived by her husband, Gary Castor of Carlin, NV;  children, Kristy Kaye Castor Utley, Carlin, NV; Russell Gary Castor, Elko, NV; 6 grandchildren (5 boys and 1 girl); 4 great grandchildren all boys; brothers, Randy L. (Sandy) Whicker of Salt Lake City, UT; Dan Ray (Alene)  Whicker of Mesquite, NV; Richard Grant Whicker of Nashville, TN; many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents; niece, Cindy Whicker.  Funeral service Saturday October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Carlin LDS Church, 220 Bush Street in Carlin, NV with a viewing from 10:00-11:00 a.m. under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Elko, NV. Interment and final resting place will be held Tuesday October 29, 2019 in the Fillmore City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. and in the Spirit World. Online condolences rasmussenmortuary. com
