Brandon Conrad Kempf
December 18, 1977 - April 11, 2023, Brandon went to be a soldier in the Lord’s Army Tuesday April 11, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with his illnesses. He was born in Henderson, Nebraska to parents Steve and Ruth Kempf. As a family they jumped around a lot while Brandon was growing up and landed in Elko, Nevada in 1994, where Brandon stayed. He went on to join the Army in 1997. He was excited for this new adventure and became a Paratrooper and was stationed in Vicenza, Italy where he made many jumps and got to travel all over Europe.
He returned to Elko where he joined the Army National Guard and served out his time. He spent the next 16 years working to chase the Carlin Trend Gold Vein in various mining jobs. While in the guard he also served time in Iraq with the 518th Gun Truck Company. When he returned from Iraq he had his son Tristan. He then met his Bride Randalyn Kempf; they married in 2007 and had two beautiful daughters Raelynn and Addison. He worked Hard and never met a stranger. He prided himself on a love of God, family, and country.
He is survived by his parents Steve and Ruth Kempf, brother Kaytum Kempf, sister Beverly Kempf, bride Randalyn Kempf, son Tristan Braun, daughters Raelynn and Addison Kempf, numerous nieces and nephews, and many military brothers and sisters.
Services will be May 4, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home in Elko, Nevada at 2:00 PM.
Burial will follow the service in the Veterans section of the Elko Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Elko VFW.
