It is with great sadness that the family of Charles (Chuck) Thompson announce his passing 8/3/2020. Born 11/5/43 in Brantwood, Wisconsin to Charlie & Mable (Wiesinger) Thompson. Survived by his wife Mary C. Thompson of 56 years and his 3 children Mary E. Thompson, Jay Thompson and Kimberly Thompson; 4 grandchildren Jared Boes, Kyle & Kaila Leyva and Miranda Thompson. 4 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Chuck and his family moved to the Elko area from Ely, Minnesota 1988. Working in maintenance at Newmont Mining retiring in 2012 having 24 years of service. Also worked for Reserve Mining in Babbitt, Minnesota for 20 years before mine closed.
We will hold you in our hearts and there you will remain until we meet again. Love you
