Passed peacefully in the arms of his loving mother on September 22, 2023, in Spring Creek, Nevada. Colton Daniel was born in Reno, Nevada, on June 8, 2023. Colton joined his sister Kassadie and brother Kason. During his three short months here on earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on. Colton Daniel is the son of Mark Young and Dakoda Mortensen of Fernley, Nevada.

Colton Daniel is survived by his parents and two siblings, Kassadie and Kason. His maternal grandparents are Josh and Joell Young of Winnemucca, Nevada. Paternal grandparents Carol and John Huddleston of Crescent Valley, Nevada, Aunts: Buffy McDonald (David), Savannah Julander (Aaron), Kelly Young, Makaila Young, Spring Creek, Nevada, Hayley Hamman (Carter Imperil) Winnemucca, Nevada. Uncles: Michael Huddleston, Spring Creek, Nevada, Johnny Huddleston, Crescent Valley, Nevada, Mason Plemons, Winnemucca, Nevada, Dalton Young and Dean Young of Elko Nevada.
