Dale A. Miles
October 24, 1945 – May 26, 2021
Dale A. Miles was a longtime resident of Spring Creek, outside of Elko, Nevada. He was born on October 24, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio. Shortly after graduating high school, Dale joined the Air Force and proudly served his country and became proficient at anything involving electricity. While stationed out West, Dale fell in love with the mountains, hunting, fishing, and camping. The more rugged the better, and after leaving the military became a linesman with Nevada Energy where he worked until retirement.
He lived the life as an avid outdoorsman. He loved the Ruby Mountains, and could look out his back door to view their majestic snowcapped mountain range.
Dale will be met in heaven by his parents, Myrna and Alfred Miles, and siblings, Linda Miles Murphy and Joyce Miles Hein. He will be greatly missed by surviving siblings Steve Miles of Sylvania, Ohio and Diane Miles Houser of Pensacola, Florida. A special thanks to childhood friend Jeff Rockwood of Toledo, Ohio as he was my brothers best friend and confident.
In memory of Dale Miles, there will be a graveside service to be held on September 8th at 11 am at the Elko City Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend to give our final respects to Dale.
