On the morning of January 26th, 2023, the world lost a beautiful soul. Karen Lynn Davidson (Peoples) unexpectedly passed in her sleep. She was a kind, compassionate person with a feisty side that kept us all on our toes.
Karen was born in San Francisco in 1959. She was the middle child with an older brother Mike and younger sister Lori. She had the fortunate experience of living overseas when she was younger, taking up residence on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean for a period of time with her family. She grew up primarily in Paradise, California where she graduated in 1977.
She loved four wheeling, horses and riding, adventures, reading and watching movies. She always took the time to enjoy a good glass of wine and conversation. One of the many gifts she possessed was being a mother and she was absolutely amazing at it, having raised both her girls with a passion for life. Having possessed a great work ethic, Karen managed several retail establishments before transitioning into the medical field as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. She brought joy and laughter to those she worked with by fulfilling her roles with empathy, compassion and humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Thomas Peoples and Verna Lee Langlois as well as her older brother William Michael Peoples. She is survived by her sister Lori and her daughters Brandy and Jessica as well as her grandchildren and extended family.
Karen will be missed dearly but will live on through the values and lessons she taught us along the way. “Always enjoy the little things because those are the big things. Do what makes you happy because then you can get through anything and enjoy life."
