Robert Lee Martinez died March 12, 2024, at the age of 45 in Elko, Nevada.

Robert was born to Lilly Cannon and James Martinez Sr on November 1, 1978, in San Diego, California, Mercy Hospital.

Robert is a veteran of Iraqi Freedom. Robert was Team Commander, Commanding Officer, and a Motor Transport Operator. For his service, he was awarded Army Achievement medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Medal with “M” Device, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal. He served honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal.

Robert enjoyed his leisure time, fishing, listening to music and hanging out with his niece, Sonja.

Robert is survived by his mother, Lilly, his brothers, James, George, Antonio and Jonathan, and his sisters Priscilla, Cynthia, Nancy and Angela and his son, Kenneth, and multiple nieces and nephews.
