Shaylynn Preston

My beloved daughter, Shaylynn Preston, unexpectedly went home on October 17, 2023, at the age of 18. She is survived by those who loved her most, including me, her mother, Kelsi Preston, uncle, Ricky Preston, her beloved dog Nala, family friends Guy Schelebo and Amy Roumanos, father, Levi Cronin, aunt, uncles, cousins and many other friends she considers family. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Wendie, grandfather, Rick, many aunt, cousins, and beloved pets and others.

Those who knew Shaylynn knew of her vivacious personality, her creative talents, her unique outlook on life, and her desire to help others. She absolutely loved fashion, makeup, and art and she wanted to make every stray animal her pet no matter the type. She even brought spiders and squirrels home and had a pet cricket named Jiminy. Her love shined through her.

Shaylynn enjoyed school at Sage Elementary, Spring Creek Middle School, and had been looking forward to graduating with an advanced diploma as it was her senior year at Spring Creek high School. She was proud of her achievements in school and excelled in everything she did.

A celebration of life is being held at the Spring Creek Marina on Sunday, October 29th, at 5:00 PM. We will be releasing balloons in Shaylynn's honor.
