Tammy Jean Glanzman, of Elko Nevada, died unexpectedly on the morning of January 4, 2023. She just celebrated her 58th birthday on December 31st. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden death. Tammy was born on December 31, 1964, in Granger, Utah. She graduated from Carlin High School in 1982 and lived in Elko, Nevada for the last 20 years.
Tammy spent the last 12 years with her soul mate and very best friend Gary Hoskins. He was the love of her life. Tammy lived a full and vibrant life with lots of great friends and family. Her nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces that meant more to her than words can describe. She was known as “The Favorite Aunt Tam Tam.” She was such a kind and loving person who would always leave you with a big smile on your face and warmth in your heart.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Val Cunningham, her sister’s Cindy Ferrin, and Marion Huerta. She is survived by her best friend and soul mate Gary Hoskins of Elko, Nevada, Brothers David Vacek of Lake, Michigan, William Cunningham Jr. of Elko Nevada and Randy and Christi Cunningham of Reno, Nevada. Sister’s Kathy and Richard Montes de Oca of Carlin Nevada, Candy and Wade Frazier of Kittridge Canyon, Nevada, and Sandy and Robert Morris of Kittridge Canyon, Nevada.
Tammy requested a Celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Tammy’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on January 21, 2023, at the VFW Hall 731 VFW Way, Elko Nevada from 12:00 - 2 :00 PM.
