Terry Tobel

Terry was born in Forsyth, Montana to Julie A. Schwin and Leslie E. Tobel on October 23, 1960. He has 2 sisters, Crystal Wilkie (Mark Wilkie) and Lori Maslowski. Julie and her children later moved to Battle Mountain, NV, where she married George E. Schwin. Terry was raised in Battle Mountain where he attended Battle Mountain Schools and later went on to work at Duval Mining Company. Terry worked as a miner (currently NGM) his entire life, even traveling to Bolivia to mine there. Terry enjoyed his travels, highlighting his work in Bolivia. Terry was a kind man, he had a memorable presence, being he was a big, tall guy. He definitely didn't go unnoticed when he entered a room. Terry lived a quiet modest life. His huge boisterous entrance into a room will be missed. Terry passed unexpectedly on April 14th, 2023, He is survived by his sisters, his two stepdaughters Sunni Bensen-Gallagher and Holli Rose Beland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Julie A. Schwin and stepfather George E. Schwin, niece Rachel N. Williams and nephew Cameron Colt Wilkie.

A memorial for Terry will be held at Burns Funeral Home on June 10th at 11 am.
