William Craig Duran
November 1, 1983 – August 17, 2021
William "Will" Craig Duran, age 37, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2021. Will was born in Elko, Nevada on November 1, 1983 to Eleanor and Florentino Duran. He was a beloved son, father, fiancé, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Born and raised in the Elko area, Will enjoyed numerous outdoor activities. Driving around the back dirt roads in the county, fishing at local reservoirs, and spending time with friends and family were his most favorite past times. Some of his other passions included attending various concerts such as Ozzy, Slayer, Megadeath, Iron Maiden and numerous other artists. He also enjoyed traveling. Some of his favorite locations included San Diego, Salt Lake City, Boise and Las Vegas. But, most of all, he loved laughing and making other people feel good.
Will was preceded in death by his Grandpa Blain Johnny, Grandma Alberta Whiterock, Grandpa Ignacio Duran and Grandma Guadalupe Delarosa, his Uncles Buck and Javy Johnny and Daniel Duran. He is survived by his mother and father Eleanor and Florentino Duran, fiancé, Naomi Driggs, his sister Alicia Duran, brother Travis Duran, nephew Jaeden Duran, daughter, Mia Duran, step-children Danica and Trent Moorhead along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Elko Indian Colony Gymnasium located at 2250 Indian View Heights Drive in Elko, NV on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
