Yahir Vargas, who loved to go by Jay, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on June 30th, 2022, at the young age of 38, surrounded by his caring family and friends.
Jay was born in Mexico, and he came to the United States to start his life at 16 years old. He started his career in mining, he also had a career in firefighting and his career ended as a tow truck driver, he loved doing all these things. In his free time, he loved watching football, barbecuing, fishing, and spending time with family, he always had a joke to crack!
He left behind his Mother, Andrea Sorensen; His Father, Randy Sorensen; His Brother, Alan Vargas; His Children, Serenah Vargas, Arianna Rose, Landen Krajewski, and Jay Vargas; His Newly Born Grandson, Adrian Espinoza; And His Best friend Cristen Rose.
We Little Knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
